What is the deadline for getting my pool barrier Certified?

A:

After your pool has been Registered with your local Council, they will send you a letter including the deadline for getting your pool barrier Certified. The critical dates are listed below:

​

  • for pools constructed before 30 June 1994: due by 1/6/2022.

  • for pools constructed between 1st July 1994 - 30th April 2010: due by 1/6/2023.

  • for pools constructed between 1st May 2010 - 31st October 2020: due by 1/6/2024.

 

All pool barriers must be re-Certified after 4 years.
